Making your trip enjoyable!

“Rome and Tuscany made absolutely fabulous”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

I was organizing a family trip to Italy for June 2012 and found Doumina's Enthusiastic Traveler website detailing all she had to offer. I emailed her the dates and a general idea of what we might like and she took it from there.I was impressed by her communication and suggestions. She has excellent guides and unique contacts that really made the trip perfect. We had an incredible hotel in Rome, a few blocks from the Colisseum and a guide for the Roman ruins and the Vatican, I can't imagine seeing any more than we did in our 2 1/2 days in Rome. Doumina had a fantastic driver (Fabio) take us to Tuscany where she had booked us into a wonderful villa in a vineyard. We had cooking lessons from the Tuscan Mamas that was a real night to remember. We had three different guides in Tuscany that were incredible and introduced us to Siena, Florence and Cortona along with a fantastic lunch with a winemaker and his family. Doumina has some fabulous connections to small wineries that are something we would not have otherwise visited and we were able to meet Lorenzo in Siena, a baker specializing in some centuries old recipes of amazing treats. Doumina and her team have a great knack for seeking the appropriate cultural highlights without completely overwhelming her clients. Our time in Cortona was incredible beyond words,,a cooking class with a Michelin star chef, a Hermitage tour in the steps of St Francis of Assisi and Etruscan ruins from 700 BC...I cannot think of any way Doumina could have done more,,,,she exceeded our expectations in every way. I recommend the Enthusiastic Traveler to anyone wanting to truly experience Tuscay.
