The concept is simple...From the time that the winemaker puts the cork in the bottle, until the consumer pulls it out, "Small Vineyards" has connected the dots in between. The story of the wine is just as important as the wine itself. Because wine is a reflection of the place it comes from and the folks who make it. It's about making a connection between the people who pour their heart and souls into the bottle, and those who drink it. Small Vineyards searches every corner of Italy for the best small production wines you've never heard of. Why? Because we believe that the best wines come from small estates. We want to help preserve this special way of life, and to protect truly unique varietals and wine making styles-that if left unrecognized-might get lost forever in the sea of corporate, internationalized wines.
