Big landscapes and rolling vistas make this area breath-taking. We have chosen a hike that shows you why Chianti is so famous. Starting in the tiny hilltop town of Volpaia, we have a cafe before we start on our journey. Volpaia is the hamlet that is a singular jewel of well-preserved history and state of the art winemaking. We picked this starting point because the never-ending rolling vineyards are picture perfect.We hike for 2 hours into the town of Radda. This hike is mostly moderate with a few uphill climbs that are for the person who is semi-good condition. After this gracious and peaceful hike, we end in Radda in Chianti for some light shopping, and exploration of a true hilltown. After, a lovely lunch with a small vineyards tasting.
This tour does not include lunch.
